🛰️ SATCOM & Satellite Ground Terminal ICs

Wideband transceivers and high-speed converters for VSAT terminals, satcom-on-the-move platforms and ground-station modems — production parts with defence-adjacent programme discipline.

Ground-terminal conversion, sourced without drama

Satellite ground terminals compress an entire RF empire into a small box: LNB/signal chain down-conversion, wideband IF digitisation, multi-carrier waveform generation for the uplink, and power monitoring across the chain. The conversion layer is where supply risk concentrates — wideband transceivers and multi-GSPS converters sit on the same allocation lists as their radar cousins. Our SATCOM-relevant portfolio: the SXS046 wideband 2T2R transceiver (AD9361-class, 70 MHz–6 GHz) covering common satcom IF and broadband modem architectures; 10–11 GSPS RF-sampling ADC and RF DAC pairs (AD9213/AD9174 class) for direct-to-RF modem designs; and log-amp power detectors for AGC and monitoring loops. All in production, 6-week lead time, with the end-use review process your compliance team expects.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have transceiver ICs for satellite modem designs?

SXS046 — FAE-confirmed P2P mapping to AD9361, TX 47 MHz–6 GHz / RX 70 MHz–6 GHz, 2T2R — is used for wideband IF and broadband modem architectures in VSAT and SOTM terminals. Share your IF plan and we will confirm fit.

What about direct-to-RF modem ADCs and DACs?

SXA050 (12-bit 10.25 GSPS, AD9213 class) for the receive side and SXD052 (16-bit 11 GSPS dual, AD9174 class) for multi-carrier uplink generation cover the direct-sampling modem class.

How do you handle defence-adjacent end-use compliance?

Radar-related and certain satcom requests pass through a standard end-use/end-user declaration before samples or formal quotations — the same process global defence primes already work with.

Lead time and continuity?

6 weeks standard on production orders. 30+ models in production; we commit continuity in writing for platform programmes.
