🏥 Medical Imaging & Ultrasound Signal Chain ICs

Multi-channel imaging ADCs and precision patient-monitoring converters for ultrasound beamforming receivers, digital X-ray and patient-monitoring platforms — pin-to-pin alternatives to mainstream ADI converter parts, in production.

Keep your ultrasound platform off allocation

Ultrasound receive chains live or die on channel count and consistency: 32–128 parallel channels of beamformer-output digitisation packed into tight power and thermal budgets. When the ADCs at the heart of that chain go on allocation, system programmes stall. Our portfolio covers quad-channel 14-bit and 16-bit 125 MSPS converters (AD9253-class and AD9656-class) for beamformer output digitisation, 14-bit 50 MSPS single-channel ADCs (AD9245-class) for lower-rate chains, and 24-bit sigma-delta converters (AD7779-class) for patient-monitoring front ends, while differential drivers condition the analogue front end. Everything is in production with 6-week lead time and English documentation — so second-sourcing becomes a scheduled qualification, not a fire drill.

Why imaging OEMs second-source with us

Channel density

Quad- and octal-channel converters digitise 32–128 beamformer channels with fewer devices and tighter channel matching.

Footprint-compatible swap

Pin-to-pin with the ADI parts your current board is built around.

In production

6-week lead time on imaging converters, with continuity across platform lifecycles.

Regulatory-friendly support

Full English datasheets and consistency documentation to feed your design history file.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a pin-to-pin replacement for the AD9253 quad imaging ADC?

Yes — SXA036 is a 14-bit, 125 MSPS quad-channel ADC pin-to-pin compatible with AD9253, a common beamformer-output ADC. It is in production with English documentation.

Which ADCs fit ultrasound beamformer receive channels?

SXA036 (14-bit, 125 MSPS, quad, pin-to-pin with AD9253) for beamformer output; SXA009 (16-bit, 125 MSPS, quad, pin-to-pin with AD9656) for higher dynamic range; SXA021 (14-bit, 50 MSPS, pin-to-pin with AD9245) for lower-rate chains.

Do you have converters for patient-monitoring front ends?

SXA030 is a 24-bit, 16 KSPS precision ADC pin-to-pin compatible with AD7779, suited to vital-signs front ends. Contact our FAE team for channel configurations.

Can you support medical device qualification?

We supply production-consistent parts with English documentation and stable process control; system-level certification stays with the OEM. Our FAE team supports channel-matching data and sample campaigns for your verification runs.
